Our wine is a first-hand experience of the past, when Plavac was a means of survival for islanders.

Visit the Vislander winery, discover the basics of Vis viticulture and taste wines made from the indigenous Vis varieties Plavac Mali and Vugava. Get to know Vislander brandies, which relieve all ailments: toothache, stomachache, heartache… our thousand-year-old universal remedy!

Try our specially prepared dishes made from fresh local ingredients paired with Vislander wines. We offer fish, meat and vegan menus.

The story of Vislander

Discover the basics of Vis viticulture and get to know the indigenous Vis varieties Vugava and Plavac Mali. The tasting includes tasting three types of wine (Bugava, Rosé and Plavac mali), paired with seasonal gourmet snacks.


Plavac for life

After you have discovered the basic tastes of Vis wine, we will present to you several plavac from different appellations and vintages so you can enjoy the whole range of rich plavac mali variety tastes. The tasting consists of tasting five wines (Sparkling wine, Vugava, Rosé and Plavac mali from two different appellations), paired with seasonal gourmet snacks.
